For Konscnce, Sorry I’m Late represents more than a collection of songs.
It marks a new chapter.
After years of serving as a music director, worship leader and performer, Konscnce stepped into a new phase of his journey as a recording artist with the release of his debut single, Hallelujah, in 2023.
That beginning eventually led to his debut EP, Sorry I’m Late.
The project brings together the elements that have shaped Konscnce’s musical identity: faith, purpose, rhythm and a desire to communicate messages that connect with people.
At the heart of the project is his Afro-Gospel/Afro-Pop fusion.
The sound brings Afrobeat energy together with the message and purpose that have remained central to his journey.
The title, Sorry I’m Late, also reflects a new chapter arriving after years of preparation, service and growth.
Konscnce is no longer simply dreaming about becoming a recording artist.
He is now building that journey through recorded music.
With the EP, the vision becomes clearer: Gospel Meets Groove.
A sound rooted in purpose, carried by rhythm and created to reach beyond borders.
Sorry I’m Late is the beginning of that chapter.
