Konscnce is an Afro-Gospel/Afro-Pop fusion artist whose mission is to merge infectious rhythms with life-changing messages.
Born in Uguta, Nigeria, and raised in Isolo, Lagos, his relationship with music began at the age of 12. It started with the drums in his church, where he earned the nickname “Kekere.”
What began as a love for music gradually became something deeper.
Inspired by his brother’s determination to use music as a lifeline for their struggling family, Konscnce developed a desire to become a recording artist. The dream was not simply about making music. It was about using music to communicate something meaningful.
Over the years, he served as a music director, worship leader and performer across the USA. Those experiences shaped his understanding of music and sharpened his calling.
His journey eventually moved into recorded music.
In 2023, Konscnce released his debut single, Hallelujah, beginning a new chapter as a recording artist. Since then, his music and performances have reached more than 1.5 million views online, while he has also ministered before crowds of more than 30,000 people at the NSPPD Prayer Conference.
Today, Konscnce describes his sound as “Gospel Meets Groove.”
It is a meeting point between faith and rhythm, bringing together Afro-Gospel and Afro-Pop influences with messages of faith, purpose and hope.
With his debut EP, Sorry I’m Late, Konscnce enters another chapter of the journey, carrying that sound to a global audience.
